To mark the anniversary of the death of Hans Kemmer, the "Cranach of Lübeck", the St. Annen Museum presented a unique exhibition. For the first time, all of Kemmer's extant works were brought together and contextualised with those of his teacher, Lucas Cranach the Elder. The exhibition illustrated the development of artistic themes during the Reformation and the German Renaissance.
In the entrance area, we developed an impressive timeline that provided a comprehensive insight into the stages of Hans Kemmer's life. With engaging design and informative animations, we created an immersive experience for visitors, highlighting Kemmer's significant contribution to art history.
