The exhibition CLEMENS & AUGUST: yesterday - today - tomorrow took visitors back to the 19th century, where they could experience the lives of the brothers as they balanced their personal and business lives, tradition and progress. The exhibition "Draiflessen Collection" allowed visitors to experience the lives of the C&A founders at first hand, building a bridge between past and present for a shared future.
To highlight the emotional aspects of the brothers Clemens and August, we developed and produced an animated film about itinerant merchants and peddlers from Westphalia, using hand-painted watercolours and silhouette technique. The film served as an impressive introduction to the exhibition. We also created a compelling video and sound installation that gave visitors an immersive experience of the Industrial Age.
Our aim was to offer visitors a captivating and immersive experience, taking them on a journey through the history of C&A and presenting the life stories of the founding fathers in an impressive way.
