Family businesses are widespread and fascinating. The exhibition FAMILY BUSINESSES AS A PHENOMENON delved into the fascinating world of family businesses, which, despite their ubiquity, are remarkably complex. It examined entrepreneurial figures such as C&A, Falke and Steiff, and explored the balance between family ties and business needs. Letters, diaries and business records revealed motives and decision-making patterns, offering a deep insight into these unique organisations.
Our concept emphasises the intuitive and playful exploration of original documents to introduce museum visitors to the world of family business. Letters, diaries and business records were presented in an engaging way through dynamic and interactive exhibits.
This allowed visitors to explore, discover and learn individually, creating an interactive and informative dialogue between visitors and the content presented.
For external communications, we produced a trailer to encourage viewers to learn more about the exhibition. The trailer highlighted the main themes and key attractions in an engaging way, effectively generating interest and drawing attention to the unique features of the exhibition.
