In the LVR open-air museum near Nümbrecht stands the fascinating Haus Lindscheid, which has a long and fascinating history. Its oldest parts date back to the 17th century, and it was modernised and extended in the mid-19th century. After serving as a residence until 1922, it was used as a barn and coach house.
Our aim was not only to entertain, but also to raise awareness of the history and cultural value of this historic house. We wanted to transport the listener to a bygone era and give them an understanding of the people and their living conditions. The challenge in developing the audiobook was to weave the significant events of the house into a compelling story that would captivate and engage visitors. Through the skilful use of immersive soundscapes, vivid characters and compelling narrative, we created an intense and emotional listening experience.
