The interactive exhibit was developed for the exhibition CAUTION, GLASS! This exhibition featured ten stained glass windows designed by Joep Nicolas in 1939 for the new C&A building in Utrecht. After the store closed, the windows were restored and became part of the Draiflessen collection.
The interactive exhibit provided a fascinating experience for visitors, allowing them to explore the themes and creation of painted stained glass windows. An iPad was used to select a window from an original floor plan. As the window was illuminated on the monitor, detailed information about the depicted motifs appeared on the iPad. Visitors could delve into the symbolism and meaning of the designs, embarking on a journey to discover the intricate details and techniques embedded in each window with each click.
