The Draiflessen Collection presented the Liberna Collection, a unique selection of rare books and printed materials from the 15th to 17th centuries. Highlighting the aesthetic precision and design of these precious manuscripts, incunabula and drawings, our brief was to create an engaging experience for visitors. We developed an interactive book installation that brought the fascinating world of 15th century bookmaking to life. Using innovative technologies and engaging presentations, visitors were able to actively engage with and experience the book-making process first hand.
Additionally, we developed a visitor app that provided additional information, images, text and films. The navigation of the app was deliberately based on the layout of the exhibition to provide an intuitive way for visitors to navigate. This allowed them to explore areas of interest and create their own personalised experience of the exhibition. These interactive elements helped to deepen the understanding and appreciation of book art from past centuries, providing visitors with an unforgettable experience.
